Feather Hair Extensions That Dont Kill

Feather Hair Extensions That Dont Kill

Hair feathers are cool accessories that add style to your hair. But the process of making them is brutal. These feathers are obtained by killing roosters and other animals like pheasants, ostriches, peacocks, and ducks. There are plenty of ways wherein you can use these hair extensions without dirtying your hands with the blood of these animals.

There are several online stores that sell hair feathers made from synthetic materials. They are as good as, if not better than the original. And with proper care, they last longer than the original. The best thing about these faux feather extensions is that they're available in a wide variety of colors and shades. From bright pinks and orange hues, to dark blues and royal purples; there's one to suit everyone's tastes.

These hair extensions are affordable as well. There are some online stores that sell them at wholesale rates. Just make sure that you choose a store that sells wholesale feather hair extensions. You would need to order at least 200 packs of these extensions to get the benefit of wholesale prices. You can style these extensions, just as you style your hair. You can color, straighten, and even curl them by ensuring that the temperature of the heating tool is not set above 100-180 degrees. These can also be washed naturally even as they are attached to your hair.

Installing these is easy as well. All that you need to do is to grab a small strand of hair where you want the feather to be placed, and then place the strand of hair on the wire (that holds the extension). This wire is then bent to allow the two ends to meet. These extensions often come with a bead which is threaded to the tips of the wire. But make sure than you do not insert these extensions too close or too far from the scalp. If it is too close to the scalp, it is sure to be uncomfortable and if it is too far, the extension looks odd; especially when the hair grows.

Besides these there are several cheap alternatives to expensive hair extensions. For instance, feathers in hair can be made at home by cutting ribbons into thin strips. These strips can then be colored using nail paints that are free from harmful chemicals. Once dried, you can clip these using the process discussed above.

Rather than killing animals for your fashion fix, doesn't it make sense to buy synthetic hair extensions?
