Home Hair Removal Systems As Alternative for Laser Hair Removal Clinics

Home Hair Removal Systems As Alternative for Laser Hair Removal Clinics

For most ladies, the desire to get rid of excess hair from their body is a primary matter of concern. Most accessories and clothes that women wear tend to show off certain parts of their body that may be hairy, particularly arms and legs. It is a truth that laser hair removal clinics are out there, which effectively remove unwanted hair from your body and its effects last for several months. But a large majority of women is not comfortable going to a laser hair removal clinic, mainly because the treatments are too expensive and you have to visit the clinic several times before the desired results can be achieved. Therefore, it becomes necessary to know in detail about some of the home hair removal systems most women prefer to use.

Depilatory cream

These work by chemically dissolving the hair. These are simple and easy to use, and prove to be one of the cheapest forms of home hair removal systems. No pain is involved at all, except for mild irritation or itching. The only drawback is that they can cause skin sensitivity in some people. Therefore, it is recommended to test a small skin patch first.

Hair Wax

This works by ripping out your hair from the roots. So, when you wax your hair, it takes longer for them to re-grow than depilatory creams. It is also effective in removing dead skin from your body parts being waxed. Because of the ripping out, the person has to undergo a lot of pain, and extra effort is also needed to heat it up, apply it and jerk it out with hair.

Hair removing sugar

It is much similar to hair removing wax, but it is usually made out of natural components such as lemon juice, essential oils and sugar. If you are allergic to wax, then sugar may be the better alternative for you.

At-home laser hair removal systems

At-home laser hair removal systems are also available, which are usually hand held devices, light in weight and easy to use. The effects are long lasting, and pain is just slight. But these devices are quite expensive, but not as expensive as visits to a laser clinic.

Some people find it cheap, easy and quick to remove their unwanted hair with razors. But you tend to grow hair thicker, spikier and quicker after removing them with razor, and rough red follicles may also develop after shaving. There are also risks of having cuts and nicks with this method. Therefore, this method is not recommended for delicate skin of a woman.

If you are not comfortable with or cannot afford visiting a laser clinic, then choose any of the above methods to remove your unwanted hair, and have a clean and smooth skin.
