The Best Way to Get Rid of Cellulite Naturally

Dimples... aren't they cute? Sure, but not when they plastered all over your thighs and butt! As women, we all seem to be plagued by this condition as we age. Now, it's time to say goodbye to it for good. As a woman and mom, I know that we all want to feel confident and happy when we look at ourselves in the mirror. Don't let cellulite rob your confidence!

In the past, I've been victim to cellulite and I remember feeling so annoyed and embarrassed by it. I particularly dreaded summertime because I knew I'd want to put on a bikini and hit the beach and pool but hated the thought of revealing anything below my waist or above my middle thigh area.

If you are like me and you're ready to say sayonara to cellulite, let me first explain what it is and then I'll explain what you can do to get rid of it.

What is Cellulite?
• Cellulite is simply excess fat
• Cellulite affects women and not men (in general) because genetically, our skin make-up is different. Our excess fat protrudes, whereas men's fat is dispersed evenly under their skin
• High body fat levels determine if cellulite is visible
• Skin firming lotions and creams will not cure cellulite
• Toxins in your body are a contributing factor to cellulite
• Excess estrogen in the body leads to fat cells being accumulated in the lower body and leads to increased cellulite

How to Get Rid of Cellulite Naturally
• Detox your body to eliminate toxins by saying goodbye to packaged foods, fast food, processed foods, alcohol, soft drinks and sugar
• Reduce stress in your life through relaxation techniques or through hobbies you enjoy
• Get active! Implement resistance training and cardio into your daily life
• Don't drink out of plastic water bottles, which could contain the toxic chemical BPA. Instead, buy a stainless steel water bottle and used filtered tap water
• Say hello to whole foods... think foods your grandparents used to eat. It's back to basics!

Getting rid of cellulite takes a healthy combination of the right nutrition, cardio and resistance training. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix. The good news is, cellulite will slowly start disappearing if you begin implementing these tips above in your life starting today.

In order to put you on the fast track to eating healthy and saying sayonara to cellulite, I'm including a FREE 3 day diet plan for cellulite below. Try it out for three days and see how your body responds. In addition, drink at least 2 quarts of water a day. My bet is you'll have more energy, you'll be full and you won't crave sweets.

This meal plan has been designed especially for women. The correct protein/carb/fat ratios help stabilize the blood sugar and as a result, enable your body to begin releasing stored fat. Your diet comprises 80% of the way your body looks, making it high on the list as the best way to get rid of cellulite naturally.

Take the 3 day challenge below and see how you feel:

Day 1 Eating Plan
Meal 1- (Eat 1 within 1 hour of waking: 1 cup of low fat Greek yogurt sweetened with Stevia (optional), ½ cup sliced strawberries, 3 walnuts chopped and 1 slice of sprouted bread
Meal 2- 3 hard boiled eggs with 2 yolks removed, one medium apple and 2 Wasa crackers
Meal 3- 3 oz seared white fish fillet, 1 cup of sautéed spinach and ¼ cup cooked couscous
Meal 4- Protein shake made with water, 1 tbsp of nut butter and 4 brown rice crackers
Meal 5- Shrimp wrap. Mash ½ an avocado and spread on whole grain wrap. Top with shredded Romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes and 6-8 large boiled shrimp. Boil shrimp by following the directions on the back of an Old Bay seasoning can.

Day 2 Eating Plan
Meal 1- 1 whole egg plus three egg whites cooked to your liking using 1 tsp of butter, 1 slice of sprouted bread, 1 sliced tomato and ¼ cup of strawberries
Meal 2- 2 stalks of celery, 1 tsp peanut butter and 1 protein shake made with water
Meal 3- 3 cups of dark green salad (Romaine Lettuce mix) topped with 1 cup of cooked chicken breast, 1 heaping tbsp of dried cranberries, 1 cup of assorted sliced vegetables, ¼ cup of low fat feta cheese, ¼ cup of brown rice and 2 tbsp of Mike Geary's balsamic dressing
Meal 4- Protein shake made with water, 1 cup of cut up veggies and 2 Wasa crackers
Meal 5- 3 oz filet mignon with 1 cup of cooked green beans and 1 small red potato

Day 3 Eating Plan
Meal 1- 1 cup of low fat Greek yogurt with ½ cup of pineapple and 1 piece of sprouted grain toast
Meal 2- Strawberry banana protein smoothie. Add 1 cup of water, 1 cup of strawberries, ½ frozen banana and 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder to a blender. Add ice as desired and blend well.
Meal 3- Chicken salad with strawberries and feta. Mix 3 cups of Romaine lettuce with ¾ cup of chopped chicken, ½ cup of strawberries and 2 tbsp of low fat feta cheese. Toss with 1 tbsp of Mike Geary's balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Meal 4- Topless tuna sandwich: Mix one small can of water packed tuna with 1 tbsp of Greek yogurt, 2 tsp of Dijon mustard, ½ tsp of honey and place on top of a piece of toasted, sprouted bread
Meal 5- Chicken and hummus wrap: Place 2 tbsp of hummus on a whole wheat tortilla wrap and top with ½ cup of chopped chicken, sliced tomatoes, chopped lettuce. Serve with a side salad and a tsp of Mike Geary's balsamic dressing

Special Ingredients and Recipes:
Stevia- an all-natural, no calorie sweetener. Look for it at your local health food store

Sprouted bread- healthy bread without preservatives. Must be kept in the freezer. Look for it at your local health food store in the freezer section

Wasa Crackers- healthy crackers. Look for them at your local health food store

Mike Geary's Balsamic Dressing Recipe- Fill salad dressing bottle with the following: 1/3 balsamic vinegar, 1/3 apple cider vinegar, 1/3 filled with equal parts of extra virgin olive oil and Udos oil (found at health food store in refrigerator section. Must be kept in refrigerator), 1-2 tsp real maple syrup and ½ tsp of onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper. Shake and keep in refrigerator

Nut Butter- Peanut butter is actually a bean. Nut butters are things like almond butter, cashew butter, hazelnut butter, etc. Peanut butter is fine, but try a nut butter and see what you think

Protein Powder- pick a vanilla brand you prefer that is under 5 grams of fat and 5 grams of carbs.

At-Home HIIT Routine
Perform this 4 times through with a 1-minute break at the very end
30 seconds: Jumping Jacks
30 seconds: Jog in Place
30 seconds: Push Ups
30 seconds: Alternating Lunges
30 seconds: Mountain Climbers
30 seconds: Side-to-Side Jumps
30 seconds: Push Ups
30 seconds: Jumping Jacks
30 seconds: Jog in Place

Now, take a 1-minute break. Repeat 3 more times for 4 total rounds
