How to Make a Natural Body Scrub

Easy to Make Natural Body Scrub

Many shop bought body scrubs contain only very small extracts of nourishing ingredients, including Shea butter and coconut oil. They can also be expensive, especially the designer brands endorsed by celebs. The skin is the largest breathable organ in the human body, and it is silly to trust a brand just because it has sold millions of products.

It is paramount to know the exact ingredients we put on our skin. Over time, chemicals and preservative can weaken the immune system and create a higher risk of the body catching illness or disease. The cosmetics industry is self-regulated, and many of the ingredients do not have to be disclosed.

Remember always look at the product you are using and see what is used to make it, a lot of times you wont really know what each thing is that is listed in the ingredients so it pays to do a bit of research yourself and find out what the ingredients actually contain.

If you are liberally applying unknown products on to your skin day after day then you do not really know what is being absorbed into your body. And remember your skin generally absorbs everything it comes into contact with straight into your body.

So here we will outline how you can create a fabulous natural body scrub from scratch in no more than ten minutes using ingredients that for the most part can be found in your home, or sourced at the local store.
